Compliance with academic integrity and publication ethics.
The editorial board of the journal «GRAIL OF SCIENCE» ensures compliance with international standards of publication ethics at all stages of the editorial process – from manuscript submission to its final publication. In its activities, the editorial board is guided by generally accepted principles of academic integrity, including prevention of plagiarism, fabrication and falsification of research results, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, as well as conflicts of interest.

Conditions for manuscript submission.
Submission of a manuscript to the journal «GRAIL OF SCIENCE» means that the author:
– confirms that the scientific material complies with the journal requirements and ethical standards;
– guarantees that the submitted manuscript is a complete and verified scientific work;
– fully agrees with the editorial policy and all its parts;
– gives consent to the publication of the full text of the article in open access under the conditions defined by this policy.

Peer review and editorial processing, timelines of the editorial process, interaction with authors.
After receiving the manuscript, editorial processing begins. The processing time may vary depending on the complexity of the material and the editorial workload.
Stage 1. Confirmation of receipt of materials.
up to 24 hours
Stage 2. Check by the editorial secretary for completeness and formatting.
up to 36 hours
Stage 3. Preliminary review by the editor, plagiarism check, use of AI or AI-assisted technologies, and compliance with journal policies.
up to 48 hours
Stage 4. Double-blind peer review by independent experts in the relevant field.
up to 28 days
Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of:
– scientific quality of the material;
– relevance of the research;
– compliance with the journal scope;
– reviewers’ conclusions.
As a result of the review, the manuscript may be:
– accepted for publication;
– returned for revision (revision timelines are not strictly limited and are determined individually depending on the nature of the comments);
– rejected (the author is provided with reasoned comments).
Stage 5. Notification of the author about the results.
up to 24 hours
Stage 6. Processing and publication in the nearest issue.
4 to 40 days
After acceptance, the editorial board may carry out technical editing, stylistic and language correction, formatting, and other preparation for publication. Any changes that may affect the content or interpretation of the results are agreed with the author.
The editorial board may request additional information regarding authorship, author contributions, data reliability, etc. In the absence of confirmation, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the manuscript.

Open Access Model.
The journal «GRAIL OF SCIENCE» applies the Gold Open Access model, which предусматриє payment by the author for the processing and publication of the work (APC), and free and unrestricted access to published materials on the journal’s website without registration or embargo. The journal does not charge a fee for manuscript submission or peer review.

Conflict of Interest, Plagiarism, AI and Research Integrity.
The editorial board adheres to the principles of transparency and responsibility regarding:
– plagiarism and self-plagiarism;
– conflicts of interest;

– research misconduct;
– the use of artificial intelligence and AI-assisted technologies;

Manuscript Withdrawal, Corrections, Updates and Retraction.
The author has the right to withdraw the manuscript at any time before its publication. In the case of withdrawal of the manuscript before its acceptance by the editorial board or after acceptance, but no later than 7 days before publication, the editorial board provides a full refund of the paid APC. In the case of withdrawal of a manuscript accepted by the editorial board less than 7 days before publication, the decision on partial or full refund of the APC is made by the editorial board individually in accordance with the principles of publication ethics. The editorial board of the journal «GRAIL OF SCIENCE» adheres to the principles of ensuring the integrity of the scholarly record and responsibility for published research results. In case of detection of errors, inaccuracies or potential violations of publication ethics, the editorial board applies appropriate mechanisms for correction, update or retraction of published materials in accordance with the recommendations, principles and approaches of international organizations and relevant national regulations.

Copyright and Licensing.
Authors whose scientific works are published in open access in the journal «GRAIL OF SCIENCE» retain copyright to their content and grant the journal the right of first publication of this scientific material. All materials are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License CC BY-SA 4.0 International, which allows copying, remixing, transforming, and distributing in any medium or format, as well as using for any purpose, including commercial use, exclusively under the same license and with mandatory attribution and indication of any changes made.

Archiving of Scientific Materials.
The editorial board continuously works on including the journal in international electronic libraries, catalogs, and scientometric databases in order to integrate into the global scientific information and communication space, as well as to increase the journal’s ranking and the citation indices of our authors.
The journal ensures long-term preservation of publications through:
– participation in the LOCKSS program (Stanford University Libraries, USA)
– cooperation with the PKP Preservation Network (Simon Fraser University, Canada)

Impartiality of Editorial Decisions.
The editorial board of the journal «GRAIL OF SCIENCE» guarantees independence of decision-making regardless of funding*, country of authors*, institutional affiliation*, race, gender, religious beliefs, nationality, social status, language, geographic or other criteria that may be discriminatory towards the author..
* The editorial board conducts financial operations in accordance with national and international financial monitoring standards and does NOT accept payments from persons located/registered in the Russian Federation or Belarus, payments in Russian or Belarusian rubles, as well as from jurisdictions identified as high-risk or non-cooperative in anti-money laundering measures.
