How can I publish my research paper in «GRAIL OF SCIENCE»?

To submit a manuscript for publication in the scientific journal Grail of Science, the corresponding author must use one of the following submission methods:
– EITHER complete the electronic submission form available on the “Registration Form” page of the website;
– OR send the manuscript and information about the authorship to the editorial office at grail@ukrlogos.group with the subject line “For Peer Review”.
The submitted manuscript will be considered in accordance with the Journal's Peer Review Regulations.

Can I submit my paper for approval first and pay later?

Of course. You may submit a manuscript and information about the authorship to the editorial office at grail@ukrlogos.group with the subject line “For Peer Review” without making any advance APC payment. If the manuscript receives a positive editorial decision following the peer-review process, the author will be provided with an opportunity to pay the Article Processing Charge (APC) before publication.

Can my paper be rejected?

Editorial decisions are made exclusively on the basis of the initial editorial assessment, evaluation of the scientific quality of the manuscript, its relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with formatting requirements, adherence to the principles of academic integrity, the journal's editorial policies, and the reviewers' recommendations.
Submission of a manuscript and/or advance payment of the Article Processing Charge (APC) does not guarantee acceptance for publication. All manuscripts are processed in accordance with the Journal's Peer Review Regulations.
Following the review process, the Editorial Board may make one of the following decisions:
Accept for publication without revision — if the manuscript complies with the journal's requirements and editorial policies and has received a positive recommendation through the peer-review process.
Request revision — if the editor or reviewer identifies issues related to formatting, structure, content, methodology, argumentation, conclusions, or other elements of the manuscript. In such cases, the author is provided with clear recommendations regarding the required revisions. No additional fee is charged for the re-evaluation and resubmission of a revised manuscript. The author may either revise the manuscript or withdraw it from consideration. If the manuscript is withdrawn, any APC paid in advance will be refunded in full.
Reject — if the editorial assessment or peer-review process determines that the manuscript does not meet the required standards of scientific quality, academic integrity, and/or the journal's editorial policies. Grounds for rejection may include, but are not limited to, insufficient scientific quality, refusal to undertake necessary revisions, plagiarism, data falsification or fabrication, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other violations of research and publication ethics. If a manuscript is rejected, any APC paid in advance will be refunded in full.

I did not receive a response after submitting the form. What should I do?

Immediately after submitting the registration form, the corresponding author should receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of the submission. Within the following 36 hours, the author should receive feedback regarding the submitted manuscript based on the results of the initial editorial assessment.
If the manuscript is submitted directly to the editorial office via email rather than through the registration form, the first response confirming receipt of the manuscript and the commencement of the editorial assessment will be provided within 2–10 working hours (Mon–Fri: 09:00–20:00; Sat–Sun: 10:00–18:00).
Please note that emails may occasionally be filtered into the “Spam” folder or other email categories such as “Promotions”, “Social”, “Updates”, or similar folders depending on your email provider. If you cannot locate the message, please do not submit the registration form again. Instead, use your email search function and search for “grail.science”.
If no message can be found, please contact the editorial office immediately at grail@ukrlogos.group.

Who is the publisher and conference organizer?

The journal is co-founded by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Integration and Cooperation and the NGO «European Scientific Platform».
The conference is co-organized by the NGO «European Scientific Platform» and the Austrian company LLC International Centre Corporative Management.
The official publisher is UKRLOGOS Group LLC.

How can I verify that the journal and conferences are official?

The journal is officially registered under the Law of Ukraine «On Media» (Decision No. 430, February 22, 2024; Media ID: R30-02704).
Each conference is registered in the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information and listed in the official bulletin of scientific events.
The journal holds ISSN 2710-3056 assigned by CIEPS.
The publisher is registered in the State Register of Publishers (Certificate DK No. 7860, June 22, 2023).

Are papers checked for plagiarism?

All manuscripts are screened for text similarity using the specialized plagiarism-detection software StrikePlagiarism.com.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
– the use of texts, ideas, data, or research results created by other authors without proper attribution;
– the verbatim reproduction or paraphrasing of another author's work without appropriate citation;
– presenting the work or findings of others as one's own;
– the use of copyrighted or licensed materials without the necessary permission or authorization.
Textual similarities are not considered plagiarism in cases involving:
– standard scientific or methodological formulations;
– properly formatted quotations accompanied by appropriate citations;
– commonly accepted terminology;
– bibliographic references and reference lists.
Each case is evaluated individually in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

What confirmation will I receive and when?

Immediately after submitting the registration form, the corresponding author should receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of the submission. Within the following 36 hours, the author should receive feedback regarding the submitted manuscript based on the results of the initial editorial assessment.
If the manuscript is submitted directly to the editorial office via email rather than through the registration form, the first response confirming receipt of the manuscript and the commencement of the editorial assessment will be provided within 2–10 working hours (Mon–Fri: 09:00–20:00; Sat–Sun: 10:00–18:00).
Following the completion of the editorial assessment and peer-review process, a decision regarding the manuscript will be made and communicated to the author. If the manuscript receives a positive editorial decision and is accepted for publication, the author will be provided with a Certificate of Acceptance for Publication.
The Certificate of Acceptance for Publication includes the title of the manuscript, the title of the journal, the title of the conference, the date and venue of the conference, and the name(s) of the author(s). The certificate is electronically signed using a qualified digital signature and bears the official seal of the publisher; therefore, it may be treated as equivalent to a paper document bearing a handwritten signature and physical seal.
Please do not submit the registration form multiple times if you have not received a response within the stated timeframe, as this may further delay processing. If no response has been received within the specified period, please search your email for “grail.science”. If no results are found, contact the editorial office at grail@ukrlogos.group.

When will I receive the certificate?

Certificates are available from the conference (publication) date. They are uploaded to Google Drive, and the link is shared via email and in the issue archive. Certificates are stored for 6 months.

Can I cancel my publication?

Yes, of course, you may withdraw your paper and cancel its publication with a full refund of the paid fee, provided that your paper has not yet been published and the submission period for the respective issue has not yet ended. After the submission deadline, withdrawal is possible with a partial refund of the organizational fee, corresponding to the part of the work that has not yet been completed. After publication, withdrawal is still possible, but without a refund of the organizational fee (for more details, see the Regulation on Corrections and Updates and the Retraction Policy). What if I made a mistake in the submission or manuscript?

If you made a mistake in the registration form, simply complete the form again – the previous submission will be deleted automatically. If you made a mistake in the manuscript file submitted for publication, you must send the updated file to grail@ukrlogos.group with the subject line «Corrected paper» so that we can replace the files.
Please note that resubmitting the registration form in this case is not recommended, as the paper may already have been forwarded for processing. Corrections to a submitted manuscript are accepted only until the submission deadline for the respective journal issue.

What if I find an error in a published paper?

If you notice an error in a published paper that was introduced during typesetting (for example, misplaced tables or figures, incorrectly displayed formulas, missing parts of the text, etc.), or any other error that was not present in the file you submitted for publication, please contact us at grail@ukrlogos.group and describe the issue, or complete the error report form.
All such errors will be corrected in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On Consumer Protection» and in order to ensure the provision of high-quality publication services. If you notice your own author error (i.e., one that was present in the file submitted for publication), please report it as soon as possible by completing the error report form: https://www.journal-grail.science/errors.php.
Author errors that may affect the recognition of the publication may be corrected. However, please note that multiple corrections, changes to data in formulas and calculations, rewriting of paragraphs, addition or deletion of sentences, modification of tables, correction of grammatical and/or punctuation errors in the text, adjustment of the reference list, etc., are not permitted after publication, as it is assumed that the author submits a final, not a draft, version of the scientific work.
Details of corrections are described in the Regulation on Corrections and Updates of Published Works. All requests are considered in accordance with the Complaint Handling Procedure.

What if there is an error in the certificate?

Information for certificates is taken directly from the registration form.
If you notice an error in the certificate caused by the editorial office, please contact us at grail@ukrlogos.group or complete the error report form: https://www.journal-grail.science/errors.php.
The certificate will be replaced free of charge in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On Consumer Protection» and in order to ensure the provision of high-quality publication services. If you notice an error resulting from incorrect and/or incomplete completion of the registration form (for example, a typo in the full name provided in the form or the absence of a certificate due to missing participant name in the form), an additional certificate can be issued upon request. I ordered printed materials. How do I track them?

Shipping is carried out according to the issue schedule. After dispatch, you will receive an SMS with a tracking number.

I missed my delivery. What should I do?

If, for any reason, you were unable to receive your postal shipment and did not inform us in advance, such a package may either be automatically returned to the sender after 7 days or disposed of. In the case of disposal, unfortunately, it will not be possible to receive the package again. If the package has been returned to the sender, it can be resent upon request, provided that the delivery cost is paid according to the postal service tariffs.
